Forests CAUTIN
Forests Cautín was founded on May 15 1992 in the city of Temuco with the aim of creating an endowment of forest plantations in the IX Region of Chile. At present the company manages around 17 thousand hectares of land, of which more than 15,000 hectares are planted with Eucalyptus, mainly globulus. The use of wooden Eucalyptus is the production of short-fiber pulp.

CODELCO North Division
Codelco Norte was created in 2002 as a result of the merger between divisions Chuquicamata and Radomiro Tomic. The Chuquicamata mining complex is located 1,650 kilometers north of the capital of Chile, at 2870 meters above sea level. It has two mines where the rate of exploitation is to open pit, "Chuquicamata and Mina Sur." Chuquicamata came into operation in 1910.
